Contemporary Indigenous Voices: Wanda Nanibush
Future Narratives lead faculty, Wanda Nanibush, gives an artist talk about her practice. Wanda Nanibush is an Anishinabe-kwe image and word warrior, curator, community animator/organizer, and arts consultant from Beausoleil First Nation. She is the Assistant Curator of Indigenous and Canadian Art at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
Contemporary Indigenous Voices: Speakers Series invites artist to think collectively in order to reorient and retool the 150 anniversary of this country and what art and artists' role are in manifesting alternative futures.
